We emphasise health and safety elements such as correct self-evaluation and the recognition of dangers and potential dangers. In this 5 day kajak course we will paddle rivers in both Austria and Slovenia, including the Gail, Soca, Moll and Goritnica rivers.

You can choose any number of days, minimum of 2 and maximum of 5.
Kajak teacher to group participant ratio is: 1 to 6

The following elements are included in our basic courses:

• Familiarisation and use of all equipment
• Evaluation of the levels of difficulty
• Basic paddling strokes (forwards, backwards, bow stroke, reversestroke or counterstroke, J stroke)
• Lower paddle bracestroke
• Eddy manoevre in easy white water
• Traversing in easy white water
• Eskimo roll
• Correct evaluation of potential danger areas
• Correct positioning of security people and use of throw bagsCorrect positioning of security people and use of throw bags
• Correct swimming and behaviour in white water
• Paddling WW 2

Prices include transfer. Equipment rental is an additional € 15.-/day. Children´s prices apply until age 14.
